The Gnomon
The Gnomon is a rivetting story about a sundial that is possed by the shadow of Satan. I tell you, I still get shivers just thinking about how that dark, creepy shadow slowly, stalkingly, approached the "noon" mark. It's like having a shadow of a gravestone fall across your heart. The Gnomon is hours of unfettered entertainment. Not quite as good as the original, though. There is just something about the way Gregory Peck stood there without moving for hours on end as his shadow kept time that Liev Schreiber just couldn't quite pull off....

She is all legs and after 27 years, she is showing not one but 666 of her rarely seen limbs.
After years of searching, scientists have rediscovered Illacme plenipes, a millipede that is the world's leggiest creature, in a tiny patch of San Benito County, California
This type of millipede was first discovered in 1926.
