Who's next?

Several years ago, I started a story where everyone had one of these microchips. In the story, the events that lead to the widespread use of these chips was all an alien plot of some sort to help us destroy ourselves out of fear. I never finished it. But I guess we don't really need the aliens.

Is it worth the access to the crime database, I wonder?
